The Smart Zimbabwe Business Network (SZBN) is proud to announce the upcoming Smart Education Seminar, scheduled for 5 March 2026 at the Golden Conifer Functions Venue in Harare. This one-day high-level event will bring together government officials, education leaders, ICT experts, development partners, and private sector innovators to explore how technology can reshape education in Zimbabwe.
The seminar will focus on building a digitally empowered education ecosystem that supports the nation’s journey toward the Smart Zimbabwe 2030 Vision. Discussions will centre on school connectivity, sustainable energy for education, digital infrastructure, AI in learning, and the creation of smart classrooms across all schools and institutions.

Purpose of the Seminar

It seeks to build a shared understanding of how digital transformation can enhance teaching outcomes, improve access to learning, and prepare the next generation for success in a technology-driven global economy.
Expected Outcomes
By the end of the seminar, participants are expected to:
1. Develop a strategic framework to accelerate digital transformation in education.
2. Strengthen public–private partnerships to support ICT integration in schools.

The EduConnect Campaign will focus on ensuring that every learner and teacher has access to the internet, digital devices, and e-learning platforms. By making use of partnerships with telecom companies, ICT providers, NGOs, and government agencies, the campaign aims to empower schools with reliable connectivity, digital skills, and educational technologies.
